LatinVillage Conquers São Paulo: Johnny 500’s Live Set Reaches New Heights
From the rooftops of São Paulo to the fields of Spaarnwoude – LatinVillage takes Latin vibes to unprecedented heights.

Amsterdam, June 5, 2025 – LatinVillage Festival builds bridges between continents. Johnny 500 – a longtime crowd favorite at the festival – travels to the heart of Brazil’s Latin scene. From atop the São Paulo skyline, he delivers a live DJ set. This international collaboration merges music, culture, and city into one unique experience.

Europe’s Biggest Latin Festival – LatinVillage is more than just a festival – it’s a cultural platform. Since its inception in 2005, it has grown into Europe’s leading Latin festival, drawing over 30,000 visitors annually. LatinVillage connects the roots of Latin culture with the modern European music scene and offers a line-up where tradition meets innovation. From renowned acts to emerging talents, each edition is a tribute to music, experience, and community.

2025 Line-Up

In 2025, LatinVillage returns with a line-up that lets Latin vibes resonate from São Paulo to Spaarnwoude. Thanks to new collaborations with both established names and rising artists, the festival delivers a unique mix of styles, cultures, and live experiences.

“We don’t just want to play Latin music – we want to understand it, celebrate it, and give back to where it came from,” says the organizer. “This project was born out of love for the culture. It’s our way to learn, connect, and inspire.”

“For me, this was truly next level. I felt the energy of the city, worked with artists I would never normally meet, and experienced flavors and sounds that I’ll carry with me in everything I create from now on. This wasn’t just a set – it became a story.”

The live set – recorded on a rooftop in São Paulo – is available here  and marks the beginning of a new content direction, with which LatinVillage aims to deepen the cultural conversation around Latin music. Not by copying, but by actively engaging in dialogue with the places and people where it all began.
